1-877-PILE-UPS

The morning traffic watch is busy here in the WRAL Newsroom.

I'm usually busy preparing the maps, scanning the cameras and building the graphics for our on-air traffic reports.  Meanwhile, Christi Russell, a traffic reporter/producer for our radio stations, is sitting at our assignment desk, keeping an ear on the scanner and making phone calls to learn about the latest delays.

We would love for you to join our traffic team.  We have a toll-free number where you can report traffic delays: 1-877-PILE-UPS (1-877-745-3877).  You can help us get the word out to your fellow drivers on WRAL-TV, Mix 101.5, 99.9 the Fan and WRAL.com!

When you leave your message, please be as specific as possible (which lane is blocked, which direction of the road, nearest cross-street, etc.) and leave your name and number.  In case we have a question, we'd like to be able to call you back.

Many thanks in advance, and we're looking forward to hearing from you!
