AT&T plans to expand 3G wireless coverage in N.C.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. —
AT&T (NYSE: T) plans to add 75 new cell sites across North Carolina this year as part of its efforts to expand high-speed wireless coverage known as 3G.
The faster service will be launched in Wilmington, Asheville, Hickory, Greenville and Havelock.
The coverage area in Raleigh, Charlotte, Concord and Greensboro also will be expanded.
AT&T has spent more than $200 million on its North Carolina wireless network over the past three years.
