Sensus Metering Systems adds exec, promotes another

Raleigh, N.C. — Sensus Metering Systems, which recently announced plans to expand its headquarters in Raleigh, is adding one executive to its management team and promoting another.

William Yeates joins Sensus as vice president of advanced metering infrastructure, and George Uram assumes the post of vice president of industry and regulatory affairs, a new position.

Yeates most recently was chief executive officer at Power-One, a power-conversion and power-management products firm.

Uram previously led a business unit within Sensus.

Sensus provides utility companies and other firms with automatic meter-reading and metering systems solutions.
