Raleigh, N.C. — Jim Whitehurst, the new chief executive officer at Red Hat, headlines the agenda for the North Carolina Technology Association’s “CEO Conversation.”
The daylong program is set for April 24 at the Sheraton Imperial in Research Triangle Park.
Whitehurst will discuss the growing global market for open-source solutions. Red Hat is the world’s leading developer and deliverer of Linux software.
Also scheduled to speak are Perrin Beatty, chief executive officer of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce, and Bob Greenburg, IBM’s senior executive in North Carolina.
Chris Kuel, managing director and co-founder of Armada Corporate Intelligence, also will speak. He will discuss current economic trends.
