Tekelec Closes on Sale of Workforce Management Subsidiary For $200M

MORRISVILLE, N.C. -- Telecom gear manufacturer Tekelec has closed on the sale of its IEX Corporation subsidiary for $200 million to NICE-Systems.

Tekelec (Nasdaq: TKLC) expects to realize net proceeds of up to $165 million. The deal was announced in April.

IEX provides workforce management and optimization technology for contact centers.
