Outsourcing Swells But Probems Remain, Cutting Edge Says

Outsourcing has become a global phenomenon, not just a strategy embraced by US companies, a new report shows.

Researchers at Cutting Edge Information have found that across the globe, outsourcing has hit more than $350 billion.

However, outsourcing is far from being successful in all instances, Cutting Edge found.

"More than 30 percent of outsourcing clients are dissatisfied after just two years," said Cutting Edge Information Chief Executive Officer Jason Richardson, who led the research. "Excellent measurement is one key in keeping both parties in the agreement happy."

Cutting Edge has produced a report that examines outsourcing trends, including "Five Principles of Success." For details, see: www.cuttingedgeinfo.com/FLReports/FL50_Outsourcing.htm
