Nextreme Thermal Names Marketing, Business Exec
Bob Conner, who has more than 20 eyars of experience in the semiconductor industry, is the new vice president for marketing and business development at Nextreme Thermal Solutions.
Nextreme, a recently launched spinout from RTI International, manufactures components that act to help control heat in semiconductors and other products.
Conner was the founding chief executive officer of Symmorphix, a manufacturer of optical components. He also has worked for AKT, a joint venture between Applied Materials and Komatsu, where he served as managing director of corporate marketing. A graduate of Duke University where he earned a degree in mechanical engineering and materials science, Conner has also worked at Intel and Cirrus Logic.
He earned an MBA from the University of Chicago.
