DataFlux Creates Customer Advisory Board
DataFlux Corporation, a SAS company leading provider of data management solutions, says it has formed a customer advisory board of experienced, objective information technology executives.
The board will serve as a forum to exchange ideas on the direction of the data management market space and to discuss data quality, enhancement, profiling and integration strategies needed to solve today's complex data challenges.
Customer advisory board members represent global organizations spanning a variety of industries. Its participants are recognized industry leaders and senior management decision makers responsible for developing and implementing data management strategies for their organizations.
The founding members consist of both customers and partners, including the Center for Data Quality, ChoicePoint, Cintas Corp., Dun & Bradstreet, Delos Technology, Fairfax County Government, FDIC, Technology Solutions Group, Innovative Consulting, Data Management Group, iORMYX International, PACCAR Parts Division, SAS, Siperian, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Weyforth-Haas Marketing Inc.
"Establishing a customer advisory council is an integral part of DataFlux's overall strategy," Tony Fisher, president and chief executive officer of Cary-based DataFlux, said in a statement. "Since our inception, customers have been the force behind our drive to improve our data management solutions--. We have formed this board as another step in honing our listening skills and looking for ways to improve upon our technology as well as our total customer communication."
Advisory board members will serve a staggered three-year term. The board is also expected to recommend areas for growth, and be a critical force in determining the future direction of DataFlux data management initiatives.
