Morrisville, N.C. — F-Origin, a company led by Joe Carsanaro, the founder of Bloodhound Software, has closed on $5 million in venture capital.
F-Origin is a developer of touch-screen technology and is creating applications for a variety of mobile devices.
It plans to begin selling products known as “Any Touch” in the third quarter.
Keynote Ventures and PVI led the funding. F-Origin has raised some $8.5 million in venture capital.
Carsanaro is a veteran of the high-tech industry, having worked at Motorola, Ericsson, Philips Consumer Communications and Lucent Technologies.
