Research Triangle Park, N.C. — Pappas Ventures, a Triangle-based venture fund focused on life-sciences investments, is raising a fourth fund of up to $200 million, according to VentureWire.
The news service cited a presentation about the fund as its source for the story.
Titled A.M. Pappas Life Science Ventures IV LP, the fund will focus on investments in therapeutic areas, VentureWire said. A.M. Pappas is the founder of the firm.
The new fund will emphasize early stage companies, VentureWire added.
Pappas has a number of active investments across the Triangle and the U.S. and in Canada.
