GREENVILLE, S.C. — Matt Dunbar, a graduate of Clemson University and a veteran executive, will be the first executive director of the new Upstate Carolina Angel Network, or UCAN.
Dunbar will assume his duties on May 1. However, he will be involved in UCAN’s first meeting with presenting companies on April 18.
A 1999 Clemson graduate and a student body president at the school, Dunbar spent the past 2 ½ years as a management consultant with the Boston Consulting Group. He was based in Atlanta. He received a degree in chemical engineer at Clemson and earned an MBA at Stanford.
Dunbar grew up in Rock Hill, S.C.
Two companies, INNegRity and Selah Technologies, are scheduled to make pitches to UCAN at the Greenville Country Club.
