Research Triangle Park, N.C. — The Council for Entrepreneurial development’s 25th annual venture capital conference will include presentations from 36 companies ranging across North Carolina and the southeast and other regions.
Last year, for the first time, the CED extended its invitation list outside of the state to the southeast and Mid-Atlantic.
This year, one presenting firm is also coming from the Midwest – CoLucid Pharmaceuticals, which is based in Indianapolis.
The conference is set for April 16-18 in Durham.
“This year’s Venture conference promises to feature the most exciting investment opportunities in the Southeast and mid-Atlantic regions,” said CED Venture conference co-chair Eric Linsley, who is a partner, Pappas Ventures. “Not only does this conference offer access to an intriguing pipeline of companies from pre-seed to mezzanine rounds of funding, but also an impressive range of technologies including cutting edge innovations in Technology, Life Science and Alternative Energy.”
