RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. — Mark Heesen, president of the National Venture Capital Association, will discuss the state of the VC industry entering 2007 during a presentation on Feb. 1 in Chapel Hill.
Heesen’s talk will begin at 4:30 p.m. at the Carolina Club. The event is free.
The Council for Entrepreneurial Development is hosting the event.
“This event will shed light on venture capital trends from a local, regional and national perspective,” said CED President Monica Doss. “As a long-standing partner with NVCA, we look forward to having Mark Heesen in town to speak with the Research Triangle’s entrepreneurial community.”
A networking event will follow Heesen’s presentation. Registration is required.
