Cary, N.C. — DataFlux and its parent company, SAS, are teaming up to offer an enterprise data life management product.
Called “Project Unity,” the master data management, or MDM, project includes data quality and integration technology from DataFlux as well as business analytics from SAS.
“After studying the market and talking to our customers, it’s clear that the data quality, data integration and MDM environments are becoming more closely aligned,” said Keith Collins, chief technology officer and senior vice president of development at SAS. “Together, SAS and DataFlux have significant strengths in each of these arenas, and the goal with Project Unity is to build upon the best of these components and provide a framework that incorporates all core data management capabilities for enterprises.”
Project Unity is designed to deliver integrated and accurate data in real time and will include business process integration as well as integration with other enterprise applications.
