Cary, N.C. — Midway will launch Epic Game’s “Unreal Tournament 3” for the Xbox 360 video game platform on July 7.
The latest edition of the multimillion-copy, first-person shooter is already available for personal computers and PlayStation 3.
Two new characters, more maps and the ability to play the game on split screens are among the highlights for Unreal 3.
“This is a great title and, with two-player split screen support and some very cool new content, Xbox 360 players should be thrilled with this fantastic version of the game,” said Mark Rein, Epic’s vice president.
The game also will include a video preview of Epic’s "Gears of War 2," which will be released later this year.
