SAS Human Resources Exec Leaves to Join PRA International
CARY - Jeffrey Chambers, vice president for human resources at SAS, has joined PRA International as vice president for human resources.
PRA, a contract resource organization, announced in September plans to relocate its headquarters to Raleigh from Reston, Va. The move will involve some 500 jobs.
"Jeff brings a multi-dimensional approach to human resources that will help PRA grow," said PRA Chief Executive Officer Terry Bieker. "His background includes labor and employment law in addition to strong tactical and strategic skills in business management and human resources. Jeff has a successful record of negotiating complex transactions, building consensus and leading by example. We will draw on his expertise as PRA relocates its headquarters to Raleigh and expands its efforts to identify and support the next generation of leaders throughout the organization."
Chambers was senior corporate counsel for SAS before taking the human resources role. He has worked at SAS since 1992. He received a political science degree from Bucknell University and his law degree from Villanova University.
PRA employs more than 3,000 people and has operations in Europe, South America, Africa, Australia and Asia as well as North America.
