Cary, N.C. — Christopher Heivly has joined the management team at business process management software firm Ultimus as executive vice president.
The position is a new one for the firm. In that role, Heivly will be responsible for North American sales, services and training, marketing, product management and support.
Heivly, one of the co-founders of MapQuest, has more than 25 years of experience in a variety of executive roles. He had been chairman and chief executive officer of Agular Systems, a document management software and services company, for the past three years.
“From previous engagements, Chris understands our business and has a proven track record of leading organizations and driving growth strategies,” said Richard Davis, Chief Executive Officer of Ultimus. “His unique blend of BPM expertise, business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit reflects the natural progression of our executive team as we expand to support our future growth.”
Ultimus has more than 1,600 customers worldwide.
