CED Sets Company Lineup for Annual Technology Conference
Tech 2007, the annual technology conference put on by the Council for Entrepreneurial Development, will feature nearly 30 companies from across the southeast.
Firms from North Carolina, Virginia, Florida and Georgia will demonstrate their latest products at the two-day conference, which is set for Oct. 10-11 at the Friday Center in Chapel Hill.
Researchers from North Carolina State University and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill also will be participating.
“This group of demo participants represents the most groundbreaking and diverse technologies from across the region,” said CED President Monica Doss. “Conference attendees will gain access to technologies which are impacting today’s industry and shaping its future.”

The event also will feature keynote presentations from Edward Iacobucci, chief executive officer of DayJet Corporation, and Ron Louks, chief technology officer at Sony Ericsson. Namji Jarwala, president of Sony Ericsson, had been scheduled to speak but withdrew due to a scheduling conflict.
