RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. – Quintiles’ capacity for research at its facility in London is larger now following the addition of new 35 beds.
The life sciences service and contract research organization company now has 105 beds for clinical trials in London and 385 worldwide.
Later this year, Quintiles will add a unit in Hyderabad, India.
“Declining productivity in research and development means that the biopharmaceutical industry is under intense pressure to increase efficiency and overcome complexity,” said Eddie Caffrey, senior vice president of Global Phase I at Quintiles. “With our expanded facility in London and our planned facility in Hyderabad we will be better able to provide an integrated Phase I research solution that facilitates robust decision making early.”
