CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Are you among the many who have an idea for an application to use on your mobile device?
You need help in developing, financing and monetizing the idea, making it a business reality?
The team at Appubator, a startup in Chapel Hill, say they can help.
Appubator stands for application incubator, but the focus is on mobile solutions.
Seeking to capitalize on the exploding mobile industry and “apps” to run on devices from Androirs to iPhones, Appubator will help entrepreneurs get their in the digital realm.
And like a self-publishing house such as Raleigh-based Lulu, the entrepreneurs receive a share of sales – 30 percent.
“I run into people every day who have great ideas for new mobile ‘apps’. Just as quickly as the ideas start flowing, people are hit with the realization that they don’t know where to begin to bring their ‘app’ ideas to light”, said Laney Dale, Appubator’s chief executive officer. “Through our company, we will help people make their apps a reality and provide a compelling income opportunity through the booming mobile application market.”
Appubator offers a secure Web site for the submission of ideas and apps.
The founders include engineers with experience in the mobile space.
