In the news: ‘Mad Money’ Jim Cramer touts Tekelec, RF Micro, CommScope

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. – MSNBC’s Jim Cramer, who is on the record as a big fan of Triangle-based Tekelec (Nasdaq: TKLC), touted the messaging and communications software firm as one of his picks for a new “Mobile Internet Index.”
Cramer also included RF Micro (Nasdaq: RFMD) in Greensboro and CommScope (NYSE: CTV) in Hickory during his “Mad Money” show Tuesday.
The index includes companies he believes are positioned to capitalize on what he calls the “Mobile Internet Tsunami.” He believes this tsunami could be a big as the PC and Internet revolutions.
The three firms are in high-profile company. Other index members include Google, Apple, research In Motion, Cisco and more.
