INC Research closes on $50M acquisition of MDS Pharma Services business unit

Raleigh, N.C. —
Contract research organization INC Research has wrapped up its $50 million acquisition of Phase II-IV clinical trial operations of MDS Pharma Services.
MDS Pharma Services is part of Canada-based MDS.
Some 800 employees are involved in the MDS operations.
INC also expands its operational footprint in several international markets, including South America, Asia and Africa.
The deal boosts INC Research’s employee count to nearly 2,000. It also now operates in 40 countries.
