Research Triangle Park, N.C. — Quintiles Transnational, one of the world’s largest contract research organizations, is adding two executives for marketing and communications to its management team.
Millie Tan, a former executive with Monster Worldwide, joins Quintiles as senior vice president for global marketing and chief marketing officer.
David Coman, who worked most recently at Dendrite International, is Quintiles’ senior vice president for communications and patient recruitment.
"Both Dave and Millie bring a wealth of experience and impressive records of success in marketing and communication," said Mike Mortimer, chief administrative officer at Quintiles. "I am excited to have them join our senior management team to play key roles in our efforts to strengthen our presence in the marketplace.”
Tan’s most recent position at Monster was chief marketing officer for its European business unit. She is a graduate of Skidmore College in New York and earned a master’s degree at Columbia University as well as a master’s in business at Dartmouth College.
Coman is a graduate of Michigan State University and earned an MBA at Northwestern University.
