Research Triangle Park, N.C. — Tony Hickson, head of bioscience licensing at Imperial Innovations in London, will be among the guest speakers at the Biotech 2007 conference.
The event, put on by the Council for Entrepreneurial Development along with the N.C. Biotechnology Center and the N.C. Biosciences organization, is set for May 14-15 in Durham.
Hickson has more than 15 years of experience in commercial licensing related to biotech. He has worked for several firms, including Wellcome Research Laboratories and Abbott Laboratories.
“Mr. Hickson has a wealth of knowledge and experience in licensing and technology transfer,” said CED President Monica Doss. “We are very excited to have him share with us some of his experience and to explain Imperial Innovations’ unique approach to technology transfer.”
